A ewe done in a Picasso-like style
“My finished sheep’s name is “Picassewe” or Picass-ewe. (For Picasso.) The face on one side is after Picasso’s Girl In a Mirror and symbolize how Picasso shows more than one view at a time – the frontal view and the profile view all in a single face at the same time. The other side of the sheep is after Picasso’s Dove of Peace with an olive branch in its mouth, but with my own additions of color and design. On the sheep’s backside is my handprint as Picasso also used handprints in his art. The blue background symbolizes Picasso’s Blue Period, although my shade of blue is a happier color. She has a smile and pleasant eyes. I chose Picasso because it is about art on a sheep.”
